The revolution of the Social Sciences: the impact of computerization. Complex adaptive systems and interreligious dialogue.

Abstract

Computational technology gets into all areas of Science. It allows us the possibility of explaining how society runs, from a digital perspective, to detect patterns through analysis tools, and even to explore hypothetical situations creating models in searching a better world. In this paper we will explain how computerization has got into Social Sciences, what are the current challenges and how it can be a tool for the study of Social Sciences. We will see the specific case of the theory of Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS) and how its social application in the interreligious field reveals and explains the dynamics and behaviour of groups.
